Earlobe injuries can occur due to a variety of reasons, including accidents, or even from wearing earrings. In some cases, such as the one we’re going to discuss today, the injury may require repair, and a laser can be used for this purpose. Recently, a patient came to my office with a traumatic earlobe injury and was looking for a non-surgical repair. Using the Fotona Dynamis laser, I was able to perform a minimally invasive procedure which is unique in that there are no incisions required. The laser is able to repair the wound and promote faster healing and reduced scarring. The procedure is performed in office and the patient can return to their normal activities the same day. Of course it is important to note that not all earlobe injuries can be repaired using a laser. In some cases, a traditional surgical approach may be necessary. If you’ve experienced an earlobe injury and are interested in non-surgical repair options, please call (844) 800-2919 to schedule a consult ASAP!
